motivation
this blog is a collection of notes, hints, and solutions to aspects and problems in software development and system administration i encounter. it is intended as a reference for myself to quickly look up resources and solutions to reoccuring problems and hopefully useful to others as well.

erich.soomsam.net runs on WordPress and uses a custom theme which is actually a heavily modified version of the default WordPress theme Kubrick. plugins in use are Admin-SSL, Text Control, WP-Syntax, a modified version of ComPreVal, and a modified version of Safe HTML Checker. all pages should be compliant to XHTML strict relying merely on CSS for layout and rendering.
comments
comments are currenty moderated to be able to delete advertisements, spam, and inappropriate content before it appears on the site. email addresses provided while writing comments are never displayed on the site, made available to other sites, or otherwise provided to third parties.
